Based on my experience, an individual wanting to work in forensic sciences in general has to be little strange. We got situation most people avoid.
You must be able to distance yourself from the situation and view evidence as evidence not becoming emotionally involved.
You need to REMAIN objective. You are looking for the truth of the situation and that is not as variable as lawyers would lead you to believe. You need someone who enjoys puzzles and does not want life become routine.
You never know what will be waiting for you. You need to be a little nosey and not accept easy answers all of the time.
